Constructed in 1969 by famed architect Marcel Breuer (The Whitney museum). It has a square floorpan underneath a curved concrete vault. The first floor is an open plan double height living room/kitchen with recessed lounge area. Floor to ceiling glazed windows with a south facade, with concrete ribbed walls. Stone floors and cork ceiling throughout. There is a studio on the 2nd floor which looks over into the double height living room. 3 acres with southern facing water and marsh views. Original plans are in the archives of American Art in the Smithsonian. Property has an brutalist and industrial feel.
